Sometimes it is very important to stay inside your comfort zone.
When, for example, you are recovering from major surgery (as I am this week).
Or when a country, such as Ukraine, is riven with tensions that risk spinning out of control.
In cases like this it is always possible to push ourselves that little bit further, “to reach for the top shelf.”
But when the ‘body’ is already weakened, it has the potential to cause unpredictable, permanent, long term damage.
Sometimes it makes sense to stop pushing so hard, and rest.
